Allow Hillbrook School to Increase Enrollment by 99 Students

Los Gatos is home to top-tier, high-caliber educational opportunities for its residents. One choice for Los Gatos residents, Hillbrook School, has been educating students in the same location in Los Gatos since 1935. Hillbrook is currently seeking to modify its Conditional Use Permit to allow for an enrollment increase of 99 students.

The demand for schools in Los Gatos is growing. Hillbrook can help ease the load with an increase in enrollment without adding new buildings or more traffic to Los Gatos streets.

· It addresses neighborhood concerns regarding traffic by instituting a robust, mandatory transportation program that will require every parent’s participation, and includes carpooling and shuttling, the establishment of a Neighborhood Committee for oversight, and strictly limits activities during non-school hours.

· It will create a stronger middle school learning environment for its students, and provide Los Gatos families with another educational option.
