I'll keep this simple. Movie run time should be decided by the director/producers and their vision of what a movie should be and how long it should take to portray said movie. If a director/producer thinks their movie should run longer than the approx 2 hour maximum run time they should be able to still make the movie that long and have it shown at that length in cinemas.
If the cinemas want to show the film to the public they should show the version that is meant to be shown and should charge according. EG if the movie is over 3 hours long instead of charging a regular price of 11 dollars for a ticket they could charge 15 dollars to make up for screenings not shown during the extra run time.
WE the undersigned would rather the run time of movies be decided by the makers (directors/producers) of said movies, rather than the companies responsible for distribution so the audience gets the complete movie experience on the whichever day they decide to watch said movie.
