It's time that British Swimming allowed swimmers of 50m form stroke events to qualify for major championships (e.g. World Championships). As it stands you need to qualify in the 100m of that Stroke and be offered the 50m.
Great Britain has many superb 50m Form swimmers who aren't given the opportunity to become World Champions.
These Swimmers will still be fully aware that the events are not in the Olympics and that they don't qualify them for Lottery funding.
We, the undersigned, call on British Swimming to allow qualification for 50m Form Events.
