Drug Enforcement Administration to Cut Opioid Production by 20 Percent in 2018

While this is a good idea to fight the war on drugs the people who need help to function are not considered in exceptions.

...NEW PRESCRIBING LAW FOR TREATMENT OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC PAIN

This is interesting and helpful. Again, this does not address the concerns for the people who legitimately need the help to function.

"We, the undersigned, call upon the Governor to Address and Fix This Bill to Still Provide Help To People In Dire Need with Debilitating Diseases and Broken Bodies/Bones and spinal cord injuries that Never Heal and Will Shorten Their Life Span .

The new opiod law does not address concerns for people with debilitating diseases like a broken back/bones that cannot be fixed and will never heal, and other injuries that will shorten the life span or end with death. People with bodies that will continue to break down on them over time with no repairing available or solutions cannot function in agony without help. This is terminal and will result in death.

This Bill punishes people who cannot function that are in positions that cannot be fixed or healed to the point where they cannot get out of bed or function physically on a daily basis.

An alternative for these people should have been set in motion before this Bill was passed at least giving them a fighting chance.

Exceptions should have been made for the people with legitimate injuries under a doctors care that are not repairable.

This Petition is to Modify the Bill to fix this problem for those in these dire need positions.
