Ers blynyddoedd maith mae pysgotwyr lleol wedi brwydro i achub y torgoch, pysgodyn unigryw i Lyn Padarn, rhag llygredd. Mae'r niferoedd wedi cwympo'n syfrdanol dros y degawd diwethaf ond does dim wedi ei wneud i stopio'r llygru. Er mwyn achub y torgoch mae Cymdeithas Pysgotwyr Seiont, Gwyrfai a Llyfni bellach wedi mynd i gyfraith er mwyn sicrhau fod Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru - sydd yna i warchod yr amgylchedd - yn gweithredu i atal y llygredd.
For many years local anglers have campaigned to save the torgoch, an Arctic char unique to Lake Padarn, from pollution. Numbers have plummeted over the past decade due to failures to control and halt the pollution. Due to inaction by monitoring agency Natural Resources Wales, the anglers have had to resort to legal action to protect the fish.
