Parking for building's 19-21 are totally inadequate at ECU's Joondalup campus. All student's pay a yearly fee for the provision of parking spots and yet generally they are full by 8.30am. This means that students at later class times do circles of 20-45 minutes looking for a parking space.
Many students travel long distances to attend classes in through peek hour traffic only to find themselves locked out of the classroom if a moment late.
The lack of student parking on the east side of the campus is disempowering, emotionally upsetting and stressful to students.
We would like ECU to provide 500 more student parking spaces on the east side of the campus. We would like a multi-level car park to be built before any more building occurs.
We, the following are students of ECU and would like to be heard on this matter.
