Winona Senior High School student Carrie Rethlefsen has caused quite a stir, in Winona and around the country, by wearing an "I (heart) My Vagina" button to school. Rethlefsen said she has been barraged with supportive phone calls and emails. Teddi Alaina, who lives in Missouri City, Texas, e-mailed the Daily News to tell us about a petition on the blog community livejournal.com supporting Rethlefsen. The petition at gopetition.co.uk/online/6292.html had 524 signatures as of Friday afternoon.
