Campaigner Christopher Barry muses in his Godzilla score petition campaign,
"In 1998, The Promising young composer David Arnold wrote a wonderful score for the Roland Emmerich's GODZILLA remake. Arnold is well known for great compositions such as Stargate, Independence Day and Tomorrow Never Dies. After the release of those great previous efforts, a lot of film music lovers were disappointed by the absence of release for the Godzilla score (the only album existing is a soundtrack with just two tracks by David Arnold). The question is why? "

Today Barry reports, "Record Label La La Land Records will be releasing the score to Godzilla by composer David Arnold some time after Christmas in 2007!"

It looks like the campaign will thus see fruit in 2007. We will report further results in the New Year.
