      <description><![CDATA[Mr. John O&#039;Reilly<p>From any outlook the period of time this restructure has run is ridiculous and outrageous. I though it was June 2006 and am not surprised to see it is actually from December 2005.  It was all to do with &#039;new broom&#039; syndrome in recurring &#039;managers&#039; ( outside of IT )and I dont believe a restructure was necessary at all considering we repeatedly heard from our IT managers that our IT operation at UWS easily outperformed other universities IT operations. The whole operation has been a waste of time.</p>]]></description>

This has caused significant stress as it has now become survival of the fittest. Level 9s should be handed a policy/should be told what they are supposed to do. Although implementation has still to happen, people have started to assume his/her role and have started boasting about it creating a whole new level of stress amongst prospects at same level</p>]]></description>

A rationale for this significant reduction should have been included in the change proposal but it is absent. This will directly and indirectly affect the quality of IT &amp; AV services to students particularly via computer labs and in other teaching/learning spaces so the change proposal is incorrect in claiming no impact on students.</p>]]></description>

Also feel that UWS Management has been sneaky in when orgainising meetings ie when people are on leave.  HoS&#039;s are just as bad as organising meetings for discussing change when they know the majority staff won&#039;t be available.</p>]]></description>
