I fight daily for these children to get what they need. The problem is, is that I can't make decisions for the children w/o the oversite of the biological parent but when they are un able to be reached and yet they live with me. Why can't I make the decision. These children are as much my children as they are to their biological parents. If we ever split or something happens to my husband I should have the right to see them. And in my case get coustody because biological mother is unstable. She moves from home to home. She has lived in 10 different address in the last 3 years. She has no job and doesn't plan on getting on. She doesn't pay child support nor can she "afford" the medication the children need daily that is over the counter when she gets them every two weeks. I provide for them and continue to be their rock of support when things go wrong. She hasn't ever really been there for them. Why should the children suffer?

I couldnt imagine him noth being able to be around them and still care for them even if they did break up.
