But there are Providers out there that are not even capable of caring for their own children let alone someone elses. There would have to be a really good screening process in place so that it doesn't just become about the money but the need for more childcare spaces. Let Providers hire staff and open up more spaces!!!

I always have a large waiting list and people continue to call and stress about how they will find childcare. There are alot of parents in Kingston who can't find chilcare and wonder if they will be able to return to work.

Why is it that I could have 5 kids of my own (lets say ages 2 months, 2 years, 3, 5, and 7) and an additional 5 kids all under the age of 2 and THATS okay.. but 6 kids with the help of another person isnt allowed. I think we need to seriously take something into consideration. Maybe view each home and the caregivers on a case by case basis. Then determine amount of allowed children.

The daycare worker is legally responsible for any harm that comes to the children in there care and the parents have to agree to put there children in the care of the worker. If both parties agree the government should not interfere!
