Ms, Anneke Corsie, Heino, Netherlands
With my young family I frequently visit the area of outstanding rare natural beauty around Ancroft.
We love it, and every UK citizen should be proud of it.
We are devastated to hear about the possibility of giant windmill parcs to ruin it.
For us as tourists (bringing money in) it means we will avoid the area for good.
We don't want to take the (health) risks involved.
Nor do we want to have to explain to our children why adults take such foolish decisions. There must be more POWERful ways !

Ms T Faiers, Ancroft Southmoor
Please refuse this application because:
1) there are too many turbines and they are too large for the landscape;
2) the turbines are too large and too close to people's homes and will be overwhelming as they constantly move causing shadows passing over the ground in our gardens and across the facades of our houses and will destroy the tranquil and beautiful area we live in;
3) the turbines are too close to homes and according to the developer's own ES cannot meet the ETSU noise limits

Lt Col Howard Culley, Bowsden, United Kingdom
The local economy in the Berwick area is not robust and depends on two major sources of income, farming and tourism. From the research we have done we understand that the demographic trend in this part of the county is one of gradual decline. Whilst farming might be largely unaffected by the construction of wind farms, tourism is very likely to suffer as the whole appearance of the region will change and the attractiveness of the area to incomers will be greatly deminished.
