Maybe there is more info now. I was unable to find any of their research on the town website. Regardless, in my opinion, the town should make at least one field with the cork blend, and rotate the teams.

The fact that there is ANY risk at all associated with crumb rubber means that we can not with good conscience use crumb rubber in our playing fields. There is NO proof that it doesn't cause cancer. Are those who have the power to change this willing to 10 years from now take the blame for our children who may have cancer b/c we didn't take care of them and let them play on fields that could be bad for their health? Is there a price tag on their health? I respectfully ask for Medway to stop and find an alternative.
