The solution is to invest in Deep Creek HS so more people will want to attend. While this will take time, it is the best solution, not just a bandage.

After years of being stationed in areas with the choice of bad or not-so-good schools, we have seen the effect a school has on children. We were finally able to purchase our first home, in the desired school zone. DCHS is not a bad school, just not equal to GFHS. Put the investment in DCHS so people want their children to attend.

Our daughter will be a Junior next year and having her change schools at the midpoint of her High School experiance is wrong. Please reconsider this rezoning plan.

A smaller home, for more money! Now, I wouldn't even be able to sell this house for what I bought it for. Thanks to the City, that also should have thought about NOT rezoning Bowers Hill and the DID rezone these neighborhoods. I graduated from Deep Creek and my wife from Indian River, so don't tell me that every school district in Ches. Is the SAME! IT IS NOT!!! $$$
