I will not watch the remake in theaters and I will encourage all of my friends to boycott the film too. Instead we will be re watching the real memento film. This movie was so well done when it first came out that it absolutely DOES NOT need to be remade. The fact that it is even being looked at being remade is such an obvious grab for some cash that it's just stupid. I know Hollywood came make some amazing films and Nolan's Momento is one of those films. Maybe it's time to stop remaking old films and create a new film with new characters, new ideas, and new concepts and not just try to play off of old successful films. There are films that DO NOT need to be remade and this is one of them. You are so preoccupied with whether or not you could that you didn't stop to think if you should. Stop a minute and consider what you're doing and the fact that it will not likely be better than Nolan's. I understand that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" but sometimes NOT doing something is better than doing it. Think long and hard about what you are going for and realize it's a terrible idea. Stop. Please, just stop.
