They were doing nothing for me and was going to let me die. I advocated for myself and found herbs with supplements to help. I found a Lyme Literate Dr. that has helped me. The testing is terrible and Doctors are not educated on Lyme. Please change this! Also, antibiotics do not work. I did that and it came back with a vengeance! Diagnosed with MS in 2009, she began the immune-suppressing Betaseron while her physical condition continued to deteriorate. Only later, in early 2013, did we find she has Lyme. CDC-positive with a positive culture. Suppressing the immune system of someone with a bacterial infection is not a good idea. We've got a long road ahead of us to try and get her health back.
