However, profit at the expense of the property values of people who are not being allowed to VOTE on what they prefer for their community is simply a wrong that is being perpetrated against folks who bought into a rural agrarian atmosphere. In many cases these folks have their life savings invested in their homes. To cause financial damage to them for the sole benefit of another is just plain wrong and it needs to be stopped in its ugly, blighted tracks. What's next, an oil derrick? What about wind mills?
We all pay far too much in property taxes to be disenfranchised by some agency whose members are not part of our community. We pay for and deserve representation of like minded people on a commission, not a blank check to interests whose only motive is profit.
Had ANY of the neighbors ever been consulted on the issue, it would have at least shown some concern for the neighborhood. In the absence of that, it can only be seen as a greedy and callous attempt to profit on the expense of those who live nearby.

This would change the whole essence of rural to essentially being in the middle of an industrial park. The danger of increased fire hazard from reflective glare also is not welcome in a already high fire zone.
