However, many newspapers are not only behaving in a disgraceful, unprofessional manner but are using social media to continue to tweet abuse probably designed to get Christopher to respond again. After the death of the nurse involved in a prank call by a radio station last week, I would have thought they would be more wary. I already had to report a local radio station near to me and the post was removed but ACTION MUST NOW BE TAKEN BY THE GOVERNMENT as it is clear the media including newspapers and TV cannot control themselves. How THIS MORNING dealt with the Prime Minister eg Phil Scholefield interview was a disgrace but the PM has experience of dealing with this sort of thing and staff to assist - Christopher is an innocent human being in all of this and this is not just about him but just how social media and the media are now encouraging the public to throw hateful insults at innocent people. IT HAS TO STOP.

I am very concerned at the lack of control in respect of the blatant bullying allowed on social media sites such as facebook and twitter, the tabloids especially the 'journalist' polly from the Daily Mirror and the judges except Gary Barlow. In addition, This morning presenters have been bias AGAINST this contestant. THIS BEHAVIOUR IS NOT FREEDOM OF SPEECH and it is now up to the authorities such as police and the Government to take action - which may be reviewing the laws in light of the Leverson report. Presenters on a daytime show should be impartial and not disclose their personal favourites to sway the public vote. If you look at some other 'get christopher out' sites on facebook, a lot of the postings are nasty, vindictive and frankly quite disgusting. TAKE ACTION NOW PLEASE
