Lake Macquarie City Council allowed Greepoint to be ruined. One would hope that a responsible council would not make this a second big mistake. Ratepayers voted for intelligent decision makers. This development is a totally irresponsible mistake.

I support the petition as the community will loss many of the birds and flora in this area.
I also support any action to prevent the proposed development of 93 retirment units and the single road access based on the present application. This is due to the loss of flora & furna, the amount of possible runoff and polution into the lake and the traffic and fire risk of the development as planned.

Empowered Living Services purchased the old Mikal Way site to put in a Retirement Village but then sold it before the development went ahead. I know at least one resident who went to talk to the Owner about cutting down trees got a very nasty reception.
