Children should be allowed to live with their loving parents and should not be isolated in foster care. Children under foster care are often treated poorly and given inadequate support. This cannot be ignored and something must be done about it.

I am tired of seeing reports in the news of children suffering abuse and dying both in foster care and with their parents, while DOCS all over the country fails to act appropriately in these situations! Many of the children being mistreated in foster care shouldn't even be there, just as many of the children in care of unfit parents should be in a loving home. Best interests of the child, my foot! The whole system needs to be reviewed!
