And then tells the court that we never made an agreement. When my daughter chose to move in with me, he chose to change his mind about the child support agreement. Perfectly legal but putting me $160,000.00 in debt. He owns 4 property rentals and is an electrical contractor. I am a house keeper. I own absolutely nothing! What am I supposed to do now? I can't take him back to court for fraud, statute of limitations ran out. My daughter is going with out medical she needs and I have to get food stamps. This has ruined my credit. All because he hates me and never wanted me to have the kids!! Family law is a joke!

I think that both men and women need to be held accountable and support their children. The amount of money goes to ALL the things that are needed to support a child, housing, heat, water, clothes, sports, etc. I seen people figure it out to where $400 a month for 1 child doesn't cover all of it. I do think $800 for 1 child is crazy, but $200 just isn't going to cut it esp with sports, growing kids, etc..ESP when the father do the bare minimum with helping outside the "support order" There was a point when bills where accounted for in some states.. just because you get $3000 a month and have $2500 worth of bills isn't the receivers problem to be honest, but the number still worked out to be more then the father wants to pay...and if your gonna go by income and bills you then have to take into consideration how many incomes are coming into one house to keep things fair. Those who receive it don't make the rules. so why talk crap on all those who receive it. I think some of the comments on here are lies, in fact I know one is for sure.
