This cannot be acceptable, for 10% of the people, to have the vote and determine matters for the other 90%, (the majority). This is totally undemocratic. As "absent" STR owners, we pay full county taxes.

Like other home owners I pay all the taxes that the county state and federal government asks of me without complaint even when penalised for being a nonresident alien.UK citizens have little or no chance of becoming residents even when in retirement.
On buying a house we pay towards schools ond infrastructure like ever one else.We should be treated as equalsinwhat is a local affair.

We live in another state. Further, to clarify this confusion, if you live in Osceola County like our district president, he won't be allowed to vote as he lives in Distrcit 3, You must live in district 1 to vote for the IC board. This is so unfair.
