Ms Phyll Greenhead, Hanwell, London
I support the petition and the statements it contains about the varied and intensifiiying usage of the site for purposes including vehicle repairs on the street and in the units, vehicle adaptation (including lining with plastic foam), and other commercial activities. Additionally, the units have staff working inside, sometimes clearly till late at night. I presume that health & safety at work regulations are infringed by the working conditions, especially when the unit doors are closed.

Mrs Tiphaine Vernon, London
I have lived in the area for the last 15 years. I used to live in Campbell Road and would always walk past the Arches to take my son to the Bunny park. It was usually quiet near the bridge but it progressively got worse with more and more cars parking in front of the entrances of the Arches making it dangerous for parents and toddlers to get to the alley way safely. Iam definitely opposed to more activities being allowed at this site.

Mr paul scott
I've lived in this area for over 15 yrs, and I can easily testify to the fact that these premises have in only recent years, and way short of the 10yr suggestion, been used on a frequent basis for business related purposes.
This is a quiet area and due to the nature of the business and location it encourages crime with several cars left unattended overnight..
I regularly walk past there with my children and I know that it’s only a matter of time that an accident will happen.

School children access the routes on a daily basis undrtaking field studies. Any form of low level industry will result in a negative impact on air quality and our enjoyment of same. Accidents are likely to happen with heavy vehicles turning around in small spaces. Please retain our local neighbourhood for generations to come.

The frequent deliveries, comings and goings strangers bringing goods and cars to the car repairers and woodworking companies clogs up the roads and causes parking problems.
Ms Frances McDonnell, London, none
I totally agree with petition above. This is a quiet residential area and is not suitable for the type of application above. When unauthorised and (probably) illegal activity has taken place at the Golden Manor Arches more recently, it has caused problems for residents affecting parking, noise and creating a totally unsuitable environment for a conservation area. There is no space for vans and lorries. We already have problems with parking and the Council recently provided yellow lines.
