All they want is to make money.<br /> And of course, they will approach the Federal Territory Minister & anyone with authority to get approval for their projects. By hook or by crook, they will go all out to convince the respective authorities to approve. And they will also come out with a strategy to get the owners of these old flats or apartments to sell their units & get back new condo units at no cost!<br /> In Malaysia, the law is that if developers do not get 100% of flat owners willing to sell, then the project cannot proceed. Even if only one owner objects to selling his or her old unit, the developer cannot just proceed to promote or sell their new condo units to others.<br /> And the authorities concerned, such as FT Minister or Datuk Bandar of DBKL, should not simply approve of such projects.<br /> This is exactly what happens to Rukun Tetangga building & children's playground in Taman Segar, Cheras, KL where there are three(3) blocks of flats, as well as terrace or link houses along the same road (Persiaran Lemak). The developer, Inspite of no approval, has already begun their sales & promotion to sell their condo units!
