Look at the photos on RM of Gimli's website & you'll see a pier! If RM is AgeFriendly as listed on its website then accessible structures such as the pier should be part of that vision to enable the elderly to access the lake. It should be erected annually by same contractors that do so in Dunnottar. There does not appear to be a liability issue for the piers in Dunnottar or Wpg. Beach.

After all, we do have great roads... no,... well, there's the oustanding drainage..., no..., they do keep up with caring for public land..., no..., they put a lot of funding into the community club..., no..., well, there are the parks.... no,.... great sidewalks....hmmm, no... well, they do send that guy around to bust yard sales! BUILD THE PIER!!! Seriously, this is a well-used and needed amenity, a heritage!!

It is apart of our regular walks and mornings too. It is the only pier in Sandy Hook and we depend on it. Our children have grown up with it and we need it to remain as one of the land marks and meeting places for young and old alike.
