This building is typical of it's time, but unfortunately they're vanishing fast. It's worth saving for the stained glass alone! How I wish we had a wonderful facility like this here in Morecambe, instead of the boring, characterless, unloved council run pool we've got. One like Streatham's was demolished to build it. Next time I'm in Steatham I expect to be able to swim once again in that wonderful pool!
