The county should continue its funding at $15,000. The Library's dedicated volunteer staff provides the County and the community with significant savings! The success of the Library demonstrates the need.

I especially enjoyed the string puppet show that Bobby Massey did for the 4 year-olds through 1st graders. For some of the children this was their first experience selling a string puppet show. I can not understand reducing the budget at all.

This does not make sense. Education (incl. libraries, museums, etc) should always be top priorities. These are long-term investments that maintain societal morale and help prevent future economic problems. And why are we so loathe to minor tax increases? We can all chip in a little to get out of this mess without cutting govt jobs and programs. Taxes now are much lower than they've been historically.
