Ie The opera house and the grand are too big to hold a operatic show with only 30 or 50 people in it. Also I have seen shows at lowther pavilion and it is a very nice atmosphere compared with the theatres in Blackpool, and very friendly staff behind the bar. Its funny that the council have enough money to want to build houses and flats but dont have enough money to keep our local theatres open. Sarahxxxxx

I enjoyed going over there myself quite often to see plays, go to fairs and enjoy the cafe and I think it would be a tragedy to see it close. It was part of the charm of the park and as I dont believe its use should have diminished since I have been away this past year then I see no reason it should close.
