All saturday schools in Lewisham largely contribute to a better, healthier, stronger London.
When they express, teach and share their multi positive cultures, with the help of dozens of volunteers, these small schools give opportunities to the poorest children to have resilience and good will to remove all barriers - poverty, racism, isolation, ignorance, etc.
Don't cut fundings to these precious communities who fight for a better London

The continuation of these schools is vital to Community Cohesion, apart from all the other reasons stated. We at MADCAP are able to promote cohesion through enabling children from some of the schools to perform at events . The maintenance of cultural traditions benefits us all. It engenders mutual respect when wecan share our arts traditions. It gives people opportunities to get to know eachother. Attacking the most vulnerable is something this govt promised not to do!
