I was unhappy with my former surgery so checked the pct website and found knights surgery to be by far the highest rated, I applied and was accepted as a patient and immediatley noticed the difference. Dr Holman and all his staff have provided me with by far the most effective care I have received within any area I have been resident, they are all very professional and very good at their jobs. I do hope the pct will reconsider this very poor descision.

I am devastated to hear such bad news that we are losing our caring and compassionate Doctor Holman. As a patient with a long term illness with many complications and then to be told I have Breast Cancer, Doctor Holman has been wonderful with advice, help, care and has supported me every step of the way.

I am numb and can not believe the NHS will allow such a Doctor with his knowledge, high standards and qualifications be allowed to be pushed out. I don’t want to lose him as my LOCAL Doctor. Let’s fight to save him and his surgery by pulling together and fighting for him to stay in our community!

My family can’t thank him enough for all that he has done for us all, without doubt he is a very kind and considerate person.

We have a fantastic doctor here who would very much like to continue, and clearly we, the patients, would love for this to happen, too. Why were we not consulted in these decisions? Why can't the NHS/council/whoever else see how valued this service is and permit expansion? Instead, we are left to attend multi-doctor practices which have patient survey ratings nowhere near as good as Dr Holman's - why not sort out what is happening in these surgeries instead of removing the best in the local area? It would be an error and a huge shame to have to lose Dr Holman and his staff through a refusal to reconsider your decision and listen to the needs of the community, service users and taxpayers.

Please, please all who read my comments send an email to enlist the help of our MP John Baron baronj@parliament.uk requesting he seek an urgent review in parliament, this is the only way to obtain change given the circumstance of Dr Holman’s so called “resignation”

We must unite to save such a superb doctor and his fine team, they all give your and my family such a splendid service and its now our turn to support him!

I ask you this: For what reason should his surgery be closed, his services removed and his patients driven into a state of disarray and confusion as their beloved doctor is simply swept aside? The answer: financial greed. Saving a few spare pounds is, somewhat ironically, a large price to pay for these patients to lose their doctor – with whom they have developed a strong, interdependent and, in many ways, indispensible bond. Enough of my rambling monologue now, I will conclude by telling you that I merely speak on behalf of the entirety of the local community in asking you to keep The Knights Surgery open to it patients, with Dr Andrew Holman at the helm. Thank you for acknowledging our request, we are all willing to meet to discuss this matter and achieve what is best for the whole community.

I had come off the pill and been trying for a baby with my partner. I felt very sick with a virus and visited him. I was amazed that by only my symtons he said your pregnant. He followed my progress till i had my son and made me feel very confindent with anything i had to take in the pregnancy. Once My son was born Dr Holman was fantastic with my boy and me as a new first time mother. I've never been so happy with a doctor and Would happily pay to follow him as a patient. I dont think the UK has enough good doctors and we should hold on tight to those we have!

Please do not close this surgery down. The thought of going to a stranger and new surgery haunts me.
