If the village loses its PO then the shop will more than likely shut, leaving many elderly and young with small children with no way of using a PO for pensions, benefits, banking or shopping. Many businesses also rely on rural POs. Closing them is terrible - why not close some urban branches where there is public transport and more facilities.
