What captivated me on the way in was the rather imposing glistening Scenic Railway structure, which I seem to recall was a light bluey colour.

Whilst the park is now a shadow of its former self I still think it should be enhanced and retained, especially for its heritage value. Its 1920 launch year is also as Margate's Dreamland.

I remember going as a kid with the family sitting on the beach, having tea on a tray from the arcade and then spending the last hour at the pleasure park. As a teenager fishing there with my dad and as an adult walking along the beach.

They should put more adult rides in as nearly all of the rides are for little kids.To raise this money they should do fate's, raffles, open everyday of everyweek!
