Neither can I obtain Job Seekers Allowance as I was not working during the requisite period [because I was medically unfit for work of course]. Now I am left with just my small pension, lower rate DLA and no other income. My income now just about covers rent & monthly direct debits but is insufficient to cover food, power, fuel for my tiny but essential car, or electricity or anything else. I do not drink, smoke, go out, have satellite TV or a contract phone. Until I retire I now have to buy food etc out of my retirement savings. As I have not worked for many years, my savings are important to my retirement but will now be eroded before I reach retirement age. I hope ATOS know how much misery they are causing with their cynical assessments. I am convinced that my attendance at my assessment was irrelevant - it required a 90 mile round trip and I was even penalised for being able to drive there tho I had no choice

He kept saying he was going to cancel the claim and cancelled the claim at the very last moment, because "he had other people waiting". Also he lied, telling me one thing and my Son the opposite.
This is what people suffering from mental health issues have to put up with, even though they have their own Doctors' Sick Pay note. ATOS 'cancelled' the last Sick Note my Son had from his Doctor, even when it still had more weeks to go. His Doctor has given him another Sick Note for 6 months, which Atos is totally ignoring. They care absolutely nothing for the mentally ill.

Amongst the very naive and ignorant legislation’s he has endured this country to suffer,
ATOS with its unethically poor quality of service, disrespecting vulnerable and disabled clients, should be aware that their Work Capability Assessment (WCA) is actually carried out as if it was a criminal investigation, which in its bad practice and methods can be depicted as actual abuse, persecution and victimization of vulnerable people. (Isn’t abuse a crime)?
For Ministers to agree to pay a company like this £3bn is immoral.
Mr. Cameron should be held responsible; he has accused people on ESA and PIP as being charlatans and a burden to hard working Tax payers. He should take a leaf from his own book.
Is that why he has introduced ATOS? So he can waste billions of the Tax payer’s money repairing the chaos he himself initiated.
With a huge log of evidence, collated by individuals, organizations such as Citizens Advice Beaux and a large amount of other respected agencies, action needs to be taken.

This time my appeal was heard in my absence on 28/10/2013 with out my knowledge and I failed again, This was over ruled by the judge

THE decision I am appealing is for the 21/01/2014 that I have failed because I can use a mobile phone a pen and move an empty cardboard box side to side on a slippy table surface I found this petty and embarrassing . But then I failed

Because I can use a bus to get to the town and to get to my tribunal and to go shopping once a fortnight. I use Iceland’s because they deliver to my
, I very rarely go any where by my self alone my friends, come with me so, I feel supported I can hobble to the local shop,
It is very painful at anytime ,regardless of what I am doing I can’t afford to just give up and vegetate .
I still have to shop plus I will still hobble as it is easier for me if I feel have

The HCA who carried out the sham of a medical examination was not medically qualified to carry out this or any other assessments, this particular HCA possessed no specialist skills whatsoever and was allowed to work unsupervised and was not under observation by a fully qualified doctor who held a minimum of 2 out of 4 specialist subjects. Under the terms and conditions of ATOS and the Secretary of State, dated and signed 15th March 2005 was in clear breach of many clauses within this contract. My client is now currently awaiting her H M Courts & tribunal appeals hearing. Whereupon I will represent her as a legal advisor.
