i have just purchased this pink shirt and would love to wear it in more events I'm 22 and started playing bowls 6 months ago I'm the youngest female member of my club and we can not get younger members to join our women's section if rules like this where changed then it would benefit younger future members

2009 and we are still under a rock, ladies bowls is a dying sport and the people that oppose these uniform changes should give the sport up as they are only dragging the sport into an early grave. They only have regard for themselves and not the rest of the ladies that want to continue this great sport and move with the times so we can encourage our younger girls to play.
dont forget it is 2009 not 1909

This shirt has the BA Logo on it so it should be aloud on social days . At the moment women can wear a white shirt without the BA Logo on it during social matches so it doesn't make sense that a shirt with the BA Logo on it , isn't allowed . It shouldn't have to be submitted to be worn .

I cannot believe that NSWWBA won't allow this shirt to be worn on a social level..come on social is amongst players from your own club, so I fail to see what the problem is. How do they expect to encourage the younger players into the sport if they won't relax a few rules and bring some fun into the game .Keep the whites for matches club and above.

I would love to see the Pink Ribbon Shirt worn on Social Bowls Day. I cannot see what the problem is. Social Bowls are played with your own members and should be relaxing and low-key. Keep the white and club shirts for anything above social!The NSWWBA should relax this rule so people can have a choice. I also agree that a lot of women bowlers do not participate in mufti bowls. What a great shirt and for such a great cause! Should be more of them! What a fantastic way to support this charity!

Allowing women to wear this shirt will help attract younger players. Women's bowls is too restrictive for the younger generations, it is firmly locked in the 60's and in danger of missing another gererstion.
