To label Ron's incredible dogs as 'menacing' is simply outrageous. They are the most well behaved, calm tempered, polite and submissive dogs in the world. If there was any sort of incident it would most certainly be the fault of the other involved party. They are true examples of 'well behaved' dogs. Anouk (Ron's eldest dog) made a huge impact on the behaviour and etiquette of my 2 male dogs; teaching them respect and patience. His youngest are equally as respectful and friendly as Anouk - always playing calmly and gently with dogs of all sizes. They are known around the centennial dog park community, as well as the dog community throughout greater Sydney, and any local would be happy to testify against this rudiculous claim.

I have met and interacted with the Malimu dogs in question and do not believe them to be aggressive by nature . I think the lady should take some responsibility for approaching big dogs with her little dog. Unfortunately it sounds like the situation escalated due to all the commotion and screaming that went on. I have a small dog and am very cautious to approach big ones as they often take chase not to harm but to play .. mine gets so scared and runs and they take chase as they think it's a game. I have learnt my lesson and don't blame the other dogs just for being dogs. They do sometimes bite as this is natural for them .

I myself share a malamute with my ex gf. We have played at Centennial park many times. During my time there, there has never been an issue with any of the dogs.

I know Ron and his dogs very well. They are beautiful and very friendly dogs. On the many occasions that i have seen them out his dogs are well behaved and never once acted out of aggression.

Ive personally know that these dog owners are highly trained and responsible owners ..
We often use the dog park at Centenial Park and have witnessed their gentle ,well behaved nature .
Having read the statement I feel the issue has arised through the complainants actions of picking her dog up and her loud hysteria .
It appears that all the facts haven't been investigated .

I have known Anouk for almost year now.
Ron brings his dogs past my salon on a regular and they are extremely friendly with my clients and other local dogs. My 11 month old puppy loves the dogs and has learnt a lot of obedience from playing and walking with Anouk regularly.
I have never met a human or dog that doesn't love these dogs

Sinaaq, Atka and gorgeous Anouk are the sweetest dogs I've ever met, they wouldn't hurt a fly and definitely they would not attack anyone. I've been Ron's neighbour for over a year and I met his Malamutes on several occassions. They were always calm and lovely - people from the Council should take a look at them and in a few seconds they would realise the unfairness of those fines. I strongly oppose to the wrong decision of Randwick Council.

Ive known Ron and his dogs for a very long time. My dog little 11kg staffy Izzy grew up with Anouke, which is his main dog and never ever did he show any agression towards any other dogs. As Ron got more dogs, they all here led by Anouke in all eras, interactions with people and overall temperament. If there was ever an issue with dogs not getting along, it was his dogs being bullied by other dogs. These dogs are not dangerous. Yes they are big, and yes they can throw their weight around. But smaller dog owners (like myself), don’t interact wiht the bigger dogs because dogs will be dogs and defend themselves. You cannot point the fingers at these dogs as they are never the aggressors. Ron deserves to plead his case and I will be in hand for support, as will all who know him and his brilliant dogs quite well.

I am Arcticbliss Kennels and I breed 3 of Ron's Malamute and there temperament and there parents are impeccable and I've known Ron for over 3 years with Ron's experience in training dogs and their owners I urge the Council to listen to Ron's witnesses and his references before any decisions are made and fines issued and innocent dogs issued with aggressive order

I think it's ridiculous for the woman dog owner to react in a childish way without cause to. And I think it's poor form on the randwick council to impose fines on this man and his dogs without further evidence! Something similar happened to me and my dog (boxer/ridgeback) at Sydney park, a woman owning a French bulldog went absolutely insane screaming when my dog approached hers. She laid over her dog on the ground and of course my dog thought she was playing so starting licking her and pawing at her arms. I removed him quickly and tried to calm her down. But she was going insane so I just left the park. People need to get all the facts!

I met Ron many times at the parck with his dogs. I am a professional dog walker so I saw them interact with a lot of different dogs, of any kind of age, breed and temperament... I have never had a problem with him or his dogs. Unfortunately I met the lady too many times and every single time she was nearly causing a fight because of her hysterical behavior.

I know Ron for close to 4 years and spend lot of time with his dogs. My Labrador Jack is playing with them often within Mascot area and also in various parks across Sydney (Centanial park being one of them). I observed the interaction of Ron's Makamutes and other dogs and there was never a problem. If anything many people in the park know the dogs and Ron by name and are happy to spend time with them. These dogs are well trained and obedient and definitely no treat to others.

People are always acting like the slightest movement from a bug dog means they they are attacking or killing others and its not fair. I have a samoyed and sometimes just because he's barking some people panick and think he's being aggressive when its obvious that hes trying to play with the other person's dog. If anything if you observe the body language of smaller dogs theyre usually ones that are more dominant/aggressive mostly because their family spoils them. Its completely unjustified.

Ron is one of the most qualified pet owner and trainer I have ever met, I have met all his dogs and they absolutely amazing animals. I have never once encountered an inch of aggressiveness from any of them! They may be big in size, but are the biggest gentle giants. They should not be punished for no reason.

We have met Anouk, Sunaaq and their owner on many occasions at Centenial Park off the lead. We have our own dog, a Saymond who is less than half of Anouk's size who has never had any issues with these dogs. They are well behaved and it is clear that the owner has put in a lot of time and effort into training his dogs to ensure they listen to his commands and are well socialised. Council clearly needs to meet these dogs to understand they are not harmful to anybody.

I personally know these malamutes Anouk, Sinaaq, Atka. In my encounters with these gentle giants they have always been nothing but good natured, gentle and friendly to my medium sized dog Toffee.
I cannot see these beautiful dogs as being aggressive at all. This has not been my experience.
I urge council to review these one-sided allegations and frivolous claims, and examine the truth.
You do not put an innocent man in jail without first giving him a fair trial, so why would you declare dogs as "menacing" without first hearing all of the evidence?

I was there and witnessed the incident. Several other dogs came to sniff her dog but the owner of the Cavalier King Charles had extremely over reacted by screaming hysterically and at the same lifting her dog over her head for no reason at all. None of Ron's dogs nor other dogs around her showed any aggression.

Please allow the Malamute dog Owner the opportunity to provide her side of the story and prove her case before fines are issued.
If I ran a red light camera and were issued a fine in the mail, I at least am given the opportunity to prove I was the driver!
As a thought, perhaps the Council's time could be better used to provide the owner of the King Charles Cavalier mental health support given the over reaction and anxiety exhibited when dealing in public situations.

The malamutes are gentle giants and although strong are not menacing. Little dogs that are defensive and start fights should not be the victim here. A review needs to be made before a fine like this should be imposed so quickly.

The lady owner of the King Charles is an imbecile and initiated contact knowing full well how many other dogs there are. The council is taking her side as it's a quick cash grab for them without hearing both sides or providing any evidence. And to top it off how convenient was it for the public that didn't witness the events leading up to help her and take their statements from her. Randwick council rangers get your act together.

I feel council can jump to conclusions and should look at all perspectives. In my opinion humans are at fault not dogs. A human can unknowingly provoke a dog and make a situation worse. This does not mean that another party needs to pay for someone's negligence. If you or your dog are not comfortable in an off leash park, you should not be there.

I have met Ron and his dogs, he is a passionate and educated dog behaviorist and I trust him and his dogs with my own. Unfortunately people place judgement and malice towards other breeds and their ignorant and knee jerk reactions cause negative outcomes. I wasn't there at the time, but I met Ron and his dogs through walking my dog in Centennial Park. I've always found all his dogs to be friendly and obedient. I've seen them around other dogs including my own, and I've never seen a hint of malice or aggression from any of them. Ron is an absolute legend in the park, he walks his dogs there several times every day. He has trained all of them to the highest standard. I believe he is a professional dog trainer

As an owner of two malmutes my boys also go over to say hello to dogs I do always let them know that there only going to have a sniff and then I call them to keep moving if this woman is stupid enough and sounds like she's not confident DONT GO TO A PARK OR NEAR DOGS.
