I hope this policy has changed by then. I will more than likely use the after school program myself. I would be highly upset if my little girl was dropped off at home, when she was suppose to be at the school. I would be even more upset if she had to sit at home for over 2 hours and noone even contacted me to tell me that they made a mistake.

I don't blame her for being upset. A 6-10 year old child should not ever be left at home alone. If a parent was to leave their child at home alone at this age, social services would be involved. What's the difference between the parents and the school? There shouldn't be! My children go and have gone to this same school. This child is friends with my child. I think we should name it the Marissa Law and go nationwide with it. I support it 100%
