I lived near the sharp curve at the top of the hill towards Blackburn end. We had countless ppl flying around that shoulder and almost lose control. I remember a wreck that happened one year where a vehicle came so fast around the shoulder that the driver lost control and went into the house on the left. If it hadn't been for the ones living there, and parking their cars on that side, that vehicle would have went right into the house. Sch buses make several stops along that road and ppl don't want to stop or they are preoccupied and then hit a child. I agree that it is a very dangerous road and think there should be something done to prevent another person, god forbid a child, from getting hurt or worse. Thank you

It happened near the 1500 block of Belmont Street. Him being a Hatcher Elementary student was trying to cross the street at the bus stop when he was hit. Police say Jones was attempting to cross both lanes of Belmont Street when he was hit in the far north bound lane. He was first taken to King's Daughters' Medical Center and later taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital, where God called him home on January 23rd. He is dearly missed by our whole family and close friends.
