I support this petition for the reasons stated above. I've learned more in this course then any other course that I've taken at the university and for that reason I think that it should definitely be part of the program.
I would never have taken this if I had known that it wasn't part of the program and since the University made a mistake, they should correct it by giving students a credit for it.

I was informed by the secretariat when I enrolled myself in the program that the Project Management Software course (MGP 8002-A) was a pre-requesit to my Master degree and also that it would count as a one credit elective course in the Master program. Considering this reason, I sign the present petition.

The UQO students have been treated poorly on this. If something as important as changing whether or not the course is credited, students MUST be informed of this change by the university. It was especially poorly done of UQO to change the rules in the middle of the session. The students who have already taken this course and the ones who were taking it when this change was made deserve the credit. When they registered for the course, it was a credited course.
