The &pound;50 reduction is obviously a Samsung rebate.  ASDA chose to offer the customer &pound;50 cash reduction at the point of sale. JL decide that they will offer through a manual redemption scheme obviously in the hope that some will not claim or submit invalid claims (shame on JL). The end result is the NKU policy is now an issue as potentially customers may think they are entitled to 2 x &pound;50 (there lies the unforeseen debacle). What JL should have done at the very least is honour a &pound;50 cash (not voucher) match under their NKU policy.  How can someone think offering JL vouchers by a manual claim process is like for like to a cash rebate at the point of purchase? I&#039;d have to shop weekly for &pound;50+ for that to be acceptable! Having honoured the &pound;50 CASH price match, honouring the &pound;50 voucher on top is another matter. I think that most customers would have accepted withdrawal of the later although honouring it would have reinforced the value that many associate with the JL brand - fair, honest, reputable etc.  Instead JL blow things on all fronts.  Shame on JL.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Mr M A Williams, United Kingdom<p>I saw the &pound;50 voucher promotion on johnlewis.com and decided to purchase the tablet. I then saw the ASDA promotion and supplied detail to john lewis for a pricematch, which was agreed. There was no mention of eligibility for the vouchers.<br />
I purchased my Tab, which though new, has an offer available on Tabs purchased before October 2013.<br />
I have the voucher form from my previous visit, but wanted to check the details and found that neither the tab nor the form are now displayed on the JL site - and that JL are now refusing the vouchers where a pricematch was used. If this were the case, then it should have been made clear when the pricematch was agreed - not removed in an underhand manner after purchsase. I am very disappointed in JL for the way they have dealt with this and feel I am unlikely to make use of their pricematch promise in future as it has been devalued.</p>]]></description>

<p>JL have been very inconsistent with their approach towards customers like me.. and I feel that I was cheated, and am not going to do any business with them in the future if they don&#039;t correct thire mistake.</p>
