This was blatant cheating, and would not be tolerated in other sports - Ben Johnson had his gold medal removed for cheating (a different type of cheating, but cheating nevertheless).

If UEFA want to condone cheating, that's one thing. If they want to remove it, they need to make the punishment fit - ban this guy from playing for a couple of years, two games is nothing. Personally, I'd ban him permanently, I suspect this would reduce the cheating significantly
