It does 'stereotype' characters but makes them interesting (and complex with Nitz and Jesse) - a rarity.

This is:

where a dumb-but-nice guy who constantly slurps is so unaware that he admonishes his normal roommate that his sighs are annoying.

Where a fast food mascot is a burger head on judicial robes called Chief Justice Burger (making that pun clever - that's difficult) and the joke is followed up by the 'judge' commenting sternly, "I don't think that young man's getting enough meat in his diet" after he gets upset and runs off.

Where 2 people in an online live next to each other (unaware break up, back to friendly, walk out in the same fire alarm, and it's touching and funny.

Jessie: Rocko had a girlfriend? Was she mentally challenged or like a man or something?...Ok, let's say your ex wasn't a total whack-job. Why'd you break up?
Rocko: It's sorta complicated.

Rocko: Uh, I know it's prom and all, buuut... I'm breaking up with you so I can get laid by tons of chicks when I go to college. (she cries, runs.) Oh yeah, happy birthday!
