The tree in question has the following issues:
1. They drop pods/seeds which in turn have to be collected by residents. If left uncollected, they could become a safety hazard should they be picked up by a lawn mower.
2. The roots raise concrete which in turn could become a trip hazard for pedestrians.
3. The trees are not maintained by local council despite being on council land, unless requested leaving the streetscape unsightly and unsafe.

The trees are also absorbing all moisture in the area killing off the grass areas.
