My ex qualifies for prosecution under the Federal Deadbeat Parent Punishment Act but where does that get me?? Nowhere!!

It can actually be quite shocking what some non-custodial parents get away with, leaving the custodial parent to pick up the slack. The last time my ex got behind they said they could not find him so I told them where he was. They did put him in contemped of court after a letter went unanswered. When he went to court he gave a sob story and they just contunued it. After the third continuation they accepted a payment of $25. What a joke. He should have been jailed. He is in the military and makes good money. He only has to pay $330 a month. Thats cheap for a child with a disability!!!!!
