Ms Candace Wade, Normal, IL, United States of America
I am currently a massage student at Lincoln College in Normal, IL. I have been in the program for 8 months and have been through extensive training. If this bill is passed it will allow unlicensed persons to perform massage without the proper schooling that they need. If they do not receive a proper education they could hurt someone. It concerns me that this bill could be passed, which could cause harm to innocent people.

Ms Abby Creighton, Normal, IL, United States of America
I am currently a Massage Therapy Student at Midwest College of Cosmetology in Normal, IL. It scares me to think that anyone could massage. Massage is not just about "rubbing" people, it is about affecting a person's tissues and muscles, increasing circulation and enhancing range of motion, etc. Sexual predators could be able to take people behind closed doors and do what they want with them if this law is passed because fingerprinting would not be required. If that is not an eye opener?

J Birks, Chicago, Il, United States of America
As a massage therapy student I feel that the hard work and dedication put into becoming professional will go unrecognized if this is passed. The health of all is being left in question by this bill. The economy is in tough enough a state as it is. Imagine what it will be like if hundreds of people are filing lawsuits against irresponsible medical practitioners, or the mortality rate changing because the public no longer knows who to trust. This may sound like an exaggeration, but it's possibible
