It's better than nothing. But my primary point is dealing with the problem from the grass root. While encouraging the investors/contractors, be it state owned or private, our gov't officials stick on mentioning cheap labor force. Given they have been told same, these Chinese firms tend to set the minimum possible wage for every work force. To the worst scenario they also disrespect Ethiopian technical staff as well. Therefore my point is this petition our gov't officials need to understand they have been part of the problem. If the gov't need to be part of the solution, they must tell the foreign companies to treat citizens based on the international labor law paying fair wages/salaries.
