If so, to whome were those donations made? Then maybe we can ask those officials to comment on those donations.

I believe it's unfair to [most likely] reduce the value of homes in the area by breaking the 'single family dwelling' feel by adding this large structure which will also completely ruin many people's view by altering the skyline from their yards and around the area in general. Also - I don't understand how over time a body of water can be downsized (in a sense). It's obvious that the river carries a very large volume of water on a regular basis and is only going to grow as bodies of water do. To down play the importance of this river for the ability to build closer to its limits would be negligent to say the least. The other issue about the commuters on the Dartmouth road is that they already fight against large volumes of traffic, which is already often slow, and introducing a large number of families would only negatively affect them.

Anyone who has alternatively travelled the Bedford Hwy knows that this has also become a feeder connect with development of south Bedford and Larry Uteck. It is literally a nightmare, as you have to get up VERY early to avoid the gridlock. Urban planners need to help relieve this issue before piling on more activity.
