"Best interests of the child" had nothing to do with the proceedings or the ruling. It was abusive and a travesty at great cost to the tax payers and an innocent child.
The 'family/domestic relations' courts are an insult to justice, families, and children and the lawyers and others who populate it are criminals with no ethics whatsoever who have created a system in which they profit no matter what transpires with no personal or professional responsibility for their highly destructive actions, greed, and outright lies.

Decent people with money to hire representation are abused in this system and self represented litigants forced to by economic disparity are openly discriminated against and abused as well so the only difference is that paying litigants have a slight buffer they pay for but we're all being abused...so why abuse ourselves further in an abusive system by paying for it?

We all deserve to receive fair and equitable treatment without abuse, discrimination, or bias.

It's not happening.

Rated A+ by BBB, never been sued by a client and with hundreds of attorneys in the area, back in the 1980-1990 period we did 25% of the cases. Tried to put me in jail, drove me back and forth and put me in a room and turned the heat up to about 100 degrees, asked me if wanted something to sat (surely), showed me the cells and bathrooms - no problem! Now I believe more like 60-70% do their own divorces, which was my sole purpose - don't make the money I did but that was never my reason for helping the thousands that I did.

I have used every gov agency to track my son through three states. I've been stripped of my constitutional rights. The mother has commuted multiple felonous crimes of moral turpitude and has hidden my child from me. So you know they use this abandonement term pretty loosely. I have jumped through hoops bent over backwards and complied with every requirement passed two ICPC's both with recommended placement and three yrs later the judge is granting me two weeks Christmas visitation.

Gave a attorney 2000.00 n stated this is all I have for my grandson to be consider iowa jurisdiction .
As my son wanted to be sure he was safe in our county n state .
Lawyer stated judge would not except bio mom not given more then 3 changes to be served! N 3 years gone by .
So wanted more x. Oh n billed me 900.00 more !
And didn't do a damn thing , nor followed r arrangement .
I could of done what she did !
I even gave lawyer the address to serve papers too !

I lost due to false allegations and perjury and my court order stated Evidence was not clear based on courts decision, I had raised my grandson since birth and for five and half years, my husband is self employed and I have been in the medical field for 26 years.My daughter abandoned him at birth and his biological father is unknown However she never showed no interest in him and didn't initiate any visitation although I always had an open door policy and he never had a want, Now let's fast forward I have court ordered visitation and she is suppose to meet halfway in Harrisonburg which she has not since June either charging us to see him or making us drive all the down which is four hrs one way, cannot hold a job selling his belongings uses his money for gas and all the cps filed up her and dropped when it hit Va where he opened up to his counselor here in Maryl nd on her husband placing a pillow over his face and he screams for him to let up the super wedgie which caused his rectum to start bleeding.
