]]> Wed, 2 Mar 2016 04:02:25 UTC 19782536 mr william elza [Signature #14] https://gopetition.com/signature/locate/19434256?utm_medium=rss when i was alittle boy 6 or 7 my father was a truck driver he would play reds muisic on an 8 track player and phantom 309 would come on and his eyes would light up . now my father was an older guy mid fifties i believe and never showed emotion but when he heard that song he actualy seamed human. he would sing out loud and put the hammer down.and when teddy bear came on you could see him almost tear up. and im sure this was true for alot of truckers . the reason im a fan is because my father explained to me what the song teddy bear was about i knew that song touched him. me and him never talked much but that time he actualy showed me he had feelings. now anytime i hear red sovine i think of that day and teddy bear makes me cry so please for all the old school truckers and kids that look up to them put red into the hall of fame it would bring me the joy to know that something that me and my dad bonded over was just as speacial to everyone else

I believe that Red Sovine is a true legend, and it saddens me that he has all but been forgotten. It is time the CMHOF recognizes Red for his contributions, and does the right thing by inducting him.
