Mr Turibamwe has served his sentence , however deporting him would not justify the impact it will have on the children's emotions and upbringing. He has learnt his lessons and served his sentence. Please don’t Deport Mr Bart Turibamwe. United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Children Act 1989 states categorically that best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration (Article 3)5 , and that they have the right to be heard and have their views taken into consideration.

We have 3 children under 18 years who have been very upset and lost without him and miss him very much. All the children have been affected. The oldest of the 3 younger children has lost direction, aspirations and motivation. Since having contact with his dad he has been more postive and his mood has picked up a bit. He has started college again and joined a football Team. At a match in September he performed very well and managed to score 2 goals. He managed to run to his dad and celebrated. The other 2 younger children have also missed their dad in their lives. Since their dad has been in close contact they have been happier and more content. I am a single parent who works full time and it has been extremely difficult juggling work and family life and ensuring that all the children's needs are met equally. Though Bart is not staying with us, we are able to have quality time together and he is able to support the children with thier homework, leisure, interests as well as support me. Please do not deport him as his young family needs and loves him very much.
