His acts may have in fact helped my government see
the holes in their systems that actual terrorists like isis could have used to access secure areas. The majority of hacker crimes in the u.s., caused by people in the u.s. do much more damage to the actual citizens (hacking walmart, target, etc) credit cards. All Gary did was embarrass the government computer security dept. -What action/effort (if any) has the u.s. gov. made for the credit card hackers? Answer=squat. It is obvious to everyone that Gary was not doing damage or acting malicious. There are far bigger fish to fry. I strongly urge the u.s. government to drop the charges or at the very least, allow him to be prosecuted at home in the u.k. . He really didnt tell us anything we all already know.
